Dear Friend:

Welcome to Saint Vincent de Paul Church, an integral part of the East Haven community since 1914.

These are exciting times for us! Our parish is a vibrant and unique blend of more than 6,500 people from 2,000 families of all ages, walks of life and socioeconomic status. While Italian-Americans form the largest percentage of our parishioners, we also serve a broad range of people from many cultures and ethnicities: Irish, Polish, Filipino and a growing population of Latinos, including many Ecuadorian families in our community. This rich and varied population shares three very basic traits, however: a profound devotion to their Roman Catholic faith, a strong commitment to their heritage, and a deep sense of family.

To serve this varied flock, the Parish offers a myriad of services, including a robust daily and weekend Mass schedule; a school with an early childhood to eighth grade curriculum; a strong religious education program designed to help youngsters and adults grow in their faith; a variety of outreach services; and many ministries that truly provide something for everyone.

Following the lead of Pope Francis, we strive to be a church that has a heart for evangelizing ourselves, our community and our church. Please explore this website to learn more about our mission; what we offer for you and your family; and, perhaps, find a way to share your time, talent and treasure with others.

Again, welcome to our website, and to our parish!

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Thomas A. Sievel, Pastor

  • MIDNIGHT RUN

Thank-you so much to the parishioners of St Vincent de Paul Church, citizens of East Haven, and all who were so generous with donations to the "Midnight Run".

2016 was an amazing year! Once again the request for lunches, clothing, toiletries, blanket donations, as well as monetary donations for the homeless was awesome!

From the bottom of my heart, I and the "Midnight Run" ministry thank-you! God bless you and wishing you health, happiness, peace and love in 2017.

Once again, thank-you for your generosity. May God bless you, Sue Stacey
